If your SASSA SRD R350 application was not approved and the reason states “UIF Registered”, this means the applicant for the SASSA R350 grant is on the Unemployment Insurance Fund (UIF) database or qualifying to receive it.

However we have noticed that with a lot of these applicants, they actually do not qualify for UIF or have not been in employment for the past few months or years.

The Unemployment Insurance Fund have urged such aggrieved who have the status UIF Registered to please appeal the decision at https://srd.sassa.gov.za instead of visiting a Department of Labour centre.
