You can apply for a new SASSA card if you have lost or your old SASSA Card has expired. Social grant beneficiaries must bring their ID documents and SASSA/Postbank gold card to their nearest SASSA branch.
The new cards would be activated, and the cards will be operational immediately to make withdrawals or any other type of transactions.
No person will be able to collect a Sassa/Postbank gold card on behalf of another unless they are registered with Sassa as a procurator
