How To Update Your Banking Details for R350 Grant in 2023

If you are an approved beneficiary of the SASSA SRD R350 Grant and you want to change your banking details, follow the steps listed below. SASSA cannot pay your grant into a mobile phone number that is registered to another person.

Apply for a loan online

Log onto the SASSA portal https://srd.sassa.gov.za/
Navigate to the ‘How do I change my banking details
Enter your ID number
An SMS containing a secure link will be sent to the mobile phone number with which you registered during the application.
Click on the link in the SMS
Select the bank account details option. Insert your banking details (It must be your personal bank account).
