You can check the Status of your Taxi Relief Fund Application online, a financial support programme by the National Department of Transport (NDoT) in collaboration with the National Empowerment Fund (NEF). It is a once-off R5, 000 ex gratia relief fund to help mitigate the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic in the taxi industry. All taxi operators who meet the prescribed conditions are eligible to apply for the Taxi Relief Fund. This includes minibus-taxis, metered taxis and e-hailing partners, but not the e-hailing companies.

- Log onto the TRF Status check Portal.
- Enter your ID number or your Company Registration Number.
