You can check your UIF claim status online via the ufiling portal through www.ufiling.co.za/. Currently the turnaround time for payment on approved unemployment claims is 15 working days.

- Log onto www.ufiling.co.za/
- Click on check my status.
- Follow the instructions as they appear on your screen.
- Enter the Captcha number displayed on the screen.
- Then proceed to enter your UIF Reference Number.
Altenatively you can also send an email to online.BCP@labour.gov.za. In the email, you should provide your name, Identification, and your UIF registration number.
